Catalogue: $10.00 if ordered with entries ($15 purchased on day � limited number only)

Judging time: 10am with Baby Puppy Dog then Baby Puppy Bitch, then remainder of Dog Classes then Bitch Classes. There will be a 10 minute break between Challenge Bitch and General Specials. Desexed Sweepstakes during lunch break.

Exhibit Numbers: A stamped addressed envelope must be enclosed for return of exhibit numbers.

Catering: Club will provide free tea and coffee during day. Soup and sandwiches will be available.

Depending on entry numbers, we would expect the luncheon break to be after Dog Challenge. During this time we plan to have a special class for �pet� Tibbies. The cost will $7 per entry (which is for the VCA public liability insurance fee � 12 months coverage) and each Tibbie will be presented with a ribbon and a prize. All you have to do is bring along your pet Tibbie and report to the Show Secretary, give your name and your Tibbie�s name and pay the fee. You will be given a card with your dog�s name on it. We will advise you on the day at what time this will take place (probably around 12.00-12.30pm).

Also, time permitting, during lunch break we would like to take a group photo of Tibbies and owners.

Advertising: Advertising is again available in the 2008 Championship Show Catalogue. Cost is $40 per coloured page (unlimited photos). However, if you wish to supply your own advertisements (i.e. every coloured page) please supply 35 coloured copies to be provided to the printer. There will be a cost of $10 to include in catalogue.

Accommodation: Fourth Furlong Motel, 1449 South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne, Ph 03 5996 7500. Rooms are $88 single bed; $95 double bed; $98 two singles. They also have kennels and plenty of space to walk your dogs and plenty of room for trailers. Book early as there are other shows on at the park.

Introducing our judge, Mr Michael Clancy, Milbethan Tibetan Spaniels, Ireland

Michael has been involved in the breed for the past 25 years buying his first Tibetan Spaniel from a well known Irish breeder and exhibiter Mr Peter Murphy "Kilmologue".

Peter convinced Michael to show this little ball of fluff called Kilmologue Top Showman (Tigger) and that's where it all began. Within one year Micheal had caught the bug and purchased his second Tibby again from Mr Peter Murphy, Queen of Kilmologue (Cindy). Both Tigger and Cindy were campaigned to their Irish title within a couple of years.

To date Michael has made up 11 Irish Champions, 2 International Champions and 1 Swedish Champion under the prefix "Milbethan".

During the past 25 years he has also got involved in the breed club in Ireland and is currently the Chairman and has been for the past 10 years. He also got involved in judging and judged his first show in 1990 - all utility breeds at open show level. His first appointment at Championship Show level was in July of 1994 judging Tibbies and other utility breeds. One of the highlights of his judging career to date was judging the utility group at the St Patricks Day All Breed International Show, Ireland on 17 March 2005.

Michael is also a keen fancier of terrier breeds and has judged both at home and abroad in both utility and terrier breeds.

In the past members have been very generous with donations which is much appreciated. We are hoping again this year that members would be able to assist with donations for the running of this show. It is not cheap to run a Specialty Show so we would gladly accept any donation of trophies, raffle prizes or money. All donations will be acknowledged in the catalogue so please advise Pam Dunlop. We thank you in anticipation of your generosity.

If any of your Tibbies have become a Ch or Gr Ch since our last Champ Show and you would like to receive a medal with the Club logo and your dog�s name on it, please add $10 to your entries and advise the dog�s name. These will be presented at the show.

Last year we had a great atmosphere at the show and it was enjoyed by all. Let's once again make it a fun event for all exhibitors and attendees. We would like all attending to be able to watch the classes, which can be hard when you have multiple dogs to get ready. We will again have a bit of time between classes. This will also give the judge a chance to write/record his critique. Hopefully, you will then have time to enjoy everything and applaud all the lucky winners. Let's again make it a fun show!

Photographs and video of the 2008 Specialty will be taken/recorded by John & Chris Pedini. As in previous years, all winners and placegetters will be photographed. Winners will be submitted to VicDog after show (standard 4 photos). However, if you want your dog�s photograph taken professionally, whether you win or not, please ask John and he will be happy to take a photograph of any dog. You will also be able to see the photos on the digital camera so you can approve of which ones you would like printed or saved.
